About RamsTV: The University of Regina Rams Football Club competes in the Canada West Conference in Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) against teams from Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver. RamsTV serves as the teams in-house media department producing videos for special events during the offseason including the fundraisers, spring camp, alumni events and others. During the season, RamsTV produces a weekly web-series consisting of player and coach interviews, game recaps and previews and special behind-the-scenes features throughout the season.

Job Description: The host of RamsTV will work closely with the Digital Media Producer in coming up with new and exciting content for episodes, planning, researching and conducting interviews with players, coaches and special guests, and providing notes on game recaps and previews for the week.

Requirements and Qualifications:

 Education/Training

o Background in Journalism considered an asset but not required

 Experience/Skills

o Experience in researching stats, biographies, and general information

o Experience in conducting on-camera interviews

o Strong communication skills and able to go off script in interviews

o Self-motivated to take the lead on projects and assignments

 Intangibles

o Have a passion for the game of football and an upbeat personality

o Dedicated to making RamsTV the number one CIS team web-series

Working Conditions:

 Able to attend 1-2 practices (3 hours per night) during the week and available for all home games

 Able to perform football related skills and drills when required for features

 Inclement weather including cold, rain, wind, snow must be tolerated but will be worked around whenever possible
