Novalee Fox

My name is Novalee Fox and I am from Ochapowace Nation. I am currently living in Regina an am attending the First Nations University of Canada where I am in my third year Indigenous Education with a major in Indigenous Studies and a minor in Cree Linguistics. For the 2012/2012 term of school I served our Student Association as the Indigenous Education Representative.  For the summer of 2013 I am taking the Indian Communications and Arts summer institute which is the seasonal pre-journalism course that will teach me communication, and journalism skills. Even though I a in Indigenous Education Student, along with that I have  a passion for writing stories, whether they be real or fantasy. I plan on going to Journalism School and have the dream of having my face on television and my voice on radio!
