I am a 3rd year INCA/pre journalism student studying at the University of Regina. I am 19-years-old and originally from a farm East of Prince Albert, where my parents still reside. I have one sister, two brothers, and am part of an incredibly close family, who have influenced me greatly. Early on I realized that I would be interested in pursuing a career that most people would consider unusual. After considering my love for not only writing, but also pursuing knowledge and interacting with people, I realized that journalism would fulfill all of my interests. I decided that I needed to start towards getting a career in the industry. I am excited about the future and am hoping to be in the school of journalism next year.
