OLPC Canada is holding a contest to develop a logo representing the organization.
The winning logo will appear on technology distributed to Aboriginal youth,
letterhead, business cards and documents.
One Laptop per Child (OLPC) Canada enhances education for Aboriginal youth by
providing students with technological tools designed for creative, innovative, selfempowered
learning. To date, OLPC Canada has provided laptops and tablets to
more than 6000 Aboriginal children 6-12 years of age in rural, remote and urban
communities. The program is currently active within more than 30 Aboriginal
educational initiatives located in 9 provinces and 2 territories.
OLPC Canada invites anyone who is interested to submit a design for an OLPC
Canada organizational logo. The logo should reflect our focus on Aboriginal youth,
education and technology. The winning entry will be selected by the OLPC Canada
board and advisory council members. A $500 prize will be awarded for the winning
entry.
Designs for the logo should be submitted by February 1, 2015 to:
