The First Nations University of Canada Convocation Grand Entry/Academic Procession is a unique ceremony, renowned for its integration of traditional and modern native content. You will feel the heartbeat of the drum and see pride on the faces of the academic participants as they are led by the Eagle Staff carrier, who is an integral part of the convocation ceremony. To be part of the convocation ceremony, you must apply for graduation. Click here to access an Application for Graduation Form. You may apply when you register for your final semester.
Your application will be reviewed by your faculty to ensure you have completed all classes and met all the grade point average requirements. Your faculty will inform you if you are missing any requirements.
Deadlines For Application:
Spring convocation: January 31
Fall convocation: July 31

Convocation Information for Prospective Graduate

Graduation Portrait Photography is a wonderful memento for graduates and their families. Arrangements have been made with Cornerstone Photography to have your graduation portrait taken at the convocation ceremony.

Event Details:
Date: Saturday, June 6, 2015
Time: Reception starts at 5:00 pm, Opening Prayer is at 5:30 pm; and Banquet is at 6:00 pm
Location: Delta Hotel, 1919 Saskatchewan Drive, Regina, SK
Banquet tickets will be available for purchase on April 1, 2015 and are $40.00 a person. Each graduate will receive one complimentary ticket and can purchase up to four more tickets until 4:00 pm on May 15, 2015. After this date, tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis.
