Description
The Sales Assistant is responsible for assisting the Sales Manager in essential duties to the Sales department.
The position will be responsible for research into sales strategies for the future of CJTR.
The Sales Assistant will be an effective decision-maker, able to manage competing priorities under the time pressures of a broadcast organization, with the prestige and credibility to follow decisions through to successful task completion.
The Sales Assistant will have superior skills at planning and organizing, while sustaining an environment that encourages personal and organizational growth.
The Sales Assistant will be accountable and will be able to balance organizational, team and individual commitments within the context of CJTRs community and regulatory commitments and our traditions of quality and professionalism.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The Sales Assistant will be responsible for the the following duties during the temporary tenure of the position:
Creating a sales database of all relevant information needed by the Sales Manager and Production Coordinator.
Develop the sales strategy for CJTRs online presence.
Sell online ad space through the approach of new customers and current.
Assist the Sales Manager in the development of a new sales package.
Assist with sales of the Talent Pool
Assists in the research of sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers as needed.
