Enhance and develop your technical skills
Research and incorporate new and emerging broadcast media technologies
Participate in identifying technical needs, analyzing and selecting broadcast equipment
As our Broadcast Technologist, you will:
Apply your technical strengths everyday as you work on a variety of projects
Demonstrate your strong communication skills while interacting with your team, contractors and remote colleagues
Perform preventative maintenance and maintain equipment inventories
Maintain a high level of performance under the pressure of time constraints and fast paced, changing environment
You bring:
Post secondary education in Broadcast Technology, combined with related, technical experience
Advanced knowledge in computer and networking systems
A valid driver’s license and clear driver’s abstract-since you’ll be travelling from time to time
Strong mathematical and reasoning ability
Ability to identify problems, take action and implement solutions
As this position is part of a bargaining unit, the successful candidate will operate under the collective agreement with the Canadian Media Guild
